The Parish of Our Lady of Pillar was established on March 26, 1985 by His Grace, the Most Rev. Leonardo Z. Legaspi, O.P.,D.D. Archbishop of Caceres. Included in its ecclesiastical jurisdiction are the following barangays of Libmanan: Mambulo Nuevo, Tinanquihan, Bagadion, Bagacay, Bagamelon, Duang Niog, Busac, San Isidro, Palong, Pag-oring Nuevo, Pag-oring Viejo, Malinao, Villa Socorro, Tanag, Sibujo, Sigamot and Mabini.

     Originally, the seat of a former parish for these barangays was in Mambulo Nuevo but the decision to transfer the seat to San Isidro and consequently to create this into a new parish was made, considering that San Isidro is more accessible than Mambulo Nuevo to all these barangays encompassed its jurisdiction.   There were petitions from the people of Mambulo Nuevo against this idea citing the fact that there is already a parish church and cemetery and that people have already been accustomed to the place.   The decision, however, was pushed through by the Archbishop with a view to the future and the greater welfare of the people whom this parish will serve.

     The parish was created during the celebration of the nation of the Marian Year and so it has a Marian patroness.

     At present, the parish is making do with a church made of concrete materials as well as the parish center and the rectory.

Kami, sa parokya ni Nuestra Seņora Del Pilar, may minanang Marahay na pag-uugali, mayaman sa pagtubod, asin natural na yaman asin iba pang oportunidad na pagkakakitaan.

Alagad yaon sa tahaw nin kamundoan asin kahaditan nin huli sa kapahaan sa tamang pakasabot asin pagtubod sa Dios, kulang sa facilidades, sobrang bisyo, kapabayaan, salang gamit kan natural na yaman, pagkabaranga, pagkatakot, asin inhustisya, na nagbubunga nin labi-labing pagtios.

Nagmamawot nin simbahan, sarong komunidad, na nakasentro ki Kristo na may kauswagan asin pagpapahalaga sa kapalibutan, pagkasarararo, katoninongan asin pagkaminorootan, pagmakulog sa dukha, buhay asin pusog na pagtubod.

Sa lindong kan biyaya nin Santisima Trinidad, sa tabang asin inspirasyon kan samuyang Patrona asin Ina, si Nuestra Seņora del Pilar, kami minadusay kan bilog ming buhay sa:

-dayaday na pag-adal, pagsabuhay, pagbalangibog kan marahay na bareta na nagpapahalaga sa mga gawe nin pagsamba.


-Pagmukna nin nagdidinamaydamayan na saradit na kominidad na may pagtubod; asin


-Sa responsableng pag-ataman kan kapalibotan.
